Popular co-op shooter Borderlands is making its way to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this March. Borderlands: The Handsome Collection is truly living up to it’s name coming with Borderlands 2 and all it’s respective DLC and the recent title of the franchise Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel which will also come with all it’s respective DLC including the two season pass items not yet detailed. There has been no word on if the first Borderlands will be making its way to PS4 and Xbox One.

Borderlands has been known for it’s two-player local co-op multiplayer and four players online. For the first time in the franchise players will be able to play with up to four friends split screen. Borderlands: The Handsome Collection will be running at 1080p and 60 frames per second but note that when playing local with four players the frames per second is targeted to run at 30 frames per second. For
those who have already started their vault hunting adventure on the Ps3 and 360
there is no need to worry about starting over. The Handsome Collection will be
compatible with cross saves so you will be able to pick up where you left off on either Borderlands 2 or The Pre-Sequel.

It has also been announced that there will be a very limited edition called The Claptrap-in-a-box Edition. Coming with the standard edition as well as a remote controlled Claptrap that will be controlled from a companion app on IOS and Android systems. This limited edition will have also included the game in a Steelcase and 12 exclusive Vault Hunter Lithographs. There will be production of 5000 units’ worldwide so any collectors should be quick to jump on this deal.

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection will be arriving on Ps4 and Xbox One on March 24. It will retail at $59.99 with the standard edition. The Borderlands: Claptrap-in-a-box Edition is retailing at $399 at participating retailers.
