Rock Band 4 Becomes Reality!

Remember that old fad in gaming where everyone was crazed to get the next Guitar Hero or Rock Band game? Well for those of you who may still have some nostalgia for the rhythm gaming genre or have been wondering about the next game, have no fear. Developer Harmonix has announced today that Rock Band 4 is in development and they are working together with Mad Catz to bring the game to the PS4 and Xbox One. Adding to this announcement they have stated that their goal for the game is to make the game backward compatible with all the old peripherals that by now most have thrown away or have left dusty and forgotten in their attics and all the old DLC songs. The intention is to have Rock Band 4 be a platform or many years instead of the yearly releases from before. Expected release for Rock Band 4 is this summer but no official release date had been set and no footage has been released as of right now.
